In 1988, founder Nancy Renick wanted to bring a

small, unique, specialty toy store to the

Village of Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

As a former elementary school teacher,

Nancy saw the need for creative, well designed and

happily displayed toys. The local community

has called the Village Toy Companyits very own

toy store ever since.

Today, the Village Toy Company staff, led by owners

Nancy Renick and Ellen Renick Durand, provides
a toy shopping experience that is hard to find
elsewhere. Personal service with a sprinkle of fun,
wit, and wisdom can help you find that perfect gift
for any age. We believe in our products, our
